What to say about River?

First, we’re a duo, and the number of half-filled Google Docs and folders attached to this name is enough to drive almost anyone crazy. Some would call us a beautiful storm of creativity. Too much creativity at times.

We’re crazy, and we’re kooky. All together campy, and apparently, in an Addams Family type of mood while writing our bio. Excuse our weirdness. 

We, River Rowan, can usually be found plotting our next story over a bowl of soup. One of us may be drinking tea when imagination strikes, or perhaps even mid-bite of something delicious. That novel, serial, short story, or random idea will usually be romance. We have a deep investment in writing about sexy men loving other men, but we enjoy changing it up more often than not. From gay bodice-rippers in alternate worlds to post-apocalyptic pansexual vampires, we’ve got you covered. Or we will when we get it all written down. 

Publishing novels has always been on our bucket lists. Due to some brutal personal setbacks these past few years (which we’re sure everyone can understand), it’s been a struggle to do so, but this year we’re deciding to do or die, slamming on the throttle and planning to publish six books this year. When not plot-planning and world-building, we plot vacations to places with blue water and pristine beaches, pretend to clean our house, eat sushi, and drink milk tea with and without tapioca, depending on the mood. We live in the U.S. (for now), but we’re making plans for a nice beach-side condo in Hawai’i or a cruise ship for at least half the year one day. 

In short, we’re just two besties living our best lives and writing stories.
